Southwest Colorado is always beautiful but some would argue with this statement in the month of April. Snow and ice thaws to make way for the brilliant greens of the Aspen leafs and the wild flowers that overtake the valleys. I was fortunate enough to capture this transitional process first hand flying over Electra Lake. The ice chiseled out some incredible art work that made for some unique captures from the air.
